Sydney graduated from the University of Houston – Clear Lake with a Bachelor
of Science degree in Environmental Biology in 2018. She went on to follow her dreams of teaching high school science. As she created a classroom culture built around empathy, safety, and trust, she realized her passion for counseling. Sydney is now pursuing a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston – Clear Lake and is expected to graduate in May of 2027.
 

Sydney takes a collaborative, trauma-informed approach as she works with
clients to improve their automatic thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is foundational and works to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to heal and grow. She looks forward to working with clients from a wide variety of ages and backgrounds. Working with her, you will set goals, explore the roots of unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, build coping skills, and learn strategies to live a happy, personally fulfilling life.
