Olan Latin, MA, LPC
Olan Latin is a native Houstonian. He graduated from Rice University
with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, while on a combined
athletic and academic scholarship as a member of the Rice Owls
football team. In 2013, he obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling from
Houston Graduate School of Theology in which he graduated cum
laude. He currently attends California Southern University where he is
scheduled to attain a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in December
2021.
Olan enjoys working with people from a variety of backgrounds and
age groups. He works with adults, couples, teens, and adolescents.
He has experience treating clients in the areas of depression, anxiety,
addictions, relationship issues, and difficulties adjusting to life
events.
Olan is a certified clinical trauma professional as he sees trauma as a
gateway to a number of disorders, addictions, and problematic
thinking. He is open-minded and uses a multidimensional approach
that is solution-focused . His training is based on evidence-based
techniques and proven research methods. He sees his greatest
strengths as being empathetic, relatable, and honest with his clients.
